| The Vision |
We envision authentic community (Connecting with Gods people) It is our vision for followers of Jesus to live life connected with other Christians in authentic community through reproducing small groups. It is our vision that Connection Church would create an environment of caring in which members actively care for and serve one another. We see a body that genuinely cares for one another and where no part of the body ever needs to stand alone. We see a group of people who prove their love for Jesus by their love for each other. We see an authentic community of people who are open to all people regardless of their race, sex, background, or social status. We see a church who takes seriously Jesus prayer in John 17 that His followers would be one as He and His Father are one. We see a church of reproducing small groups that allow authentic community to be lived out in relationships of care, prayer, learning, fellowship, and accountability. We see a church where every person is understood as valuable to and loved by God and therefore is valuable to and loved by His people. |
