| The Vision |
We envision healthy families (Connecting in our homes) It is our vision to enable and assist families to connect with each other in growing, healthy relationships. It is our vision, through teaching and mentoring, to equip husbands and wives to comprehend and fulfill their God-given roles in their marriage, and equip parents and children to fulfill their roles. We see family relationships that bring peace and security in the home. We see families who love and value each member as a gift of God. We see children who have the peace of parents who love each other and love them. We see husbands and wives who celebrate their roles in the marriage as determined by the Bible. We see marriages that model Christ and His Bride (the church). We see parent/child relationships that model the relationship of the Heavenly Father and His children. We see families who grow together spiritually. We see husbands and fathers accepting the responsibilities of being the spiritual leader of their families and loving their wives as Christ loved the church. We see wives and mothers who respect their husbands and bless their homes as described in Proverbs 31. We see a church that ministers to the whole family. We see a place where families worship, learn, pray, and serve together. |
